Alloy 20(UNS N08020) /Incoloy20/2.4660/nicr20cumo/Nicrofer3620NB is an iron-based austenitic alloy developed to resist sulfuric acid corrosion. It has excellent resistance to sulfuric acid corrosion, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and chloride environments, chloride stress corrosion, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion. Thus, Alloy 20 is also known as a corrosion-resistant alloy; it has a wide range of applications: chemical, food, pharmaceutical, power production and plastic industries. To resist pitting and chloride corrosion, stress corrosion cracking problems, etc., it is often necessary to use alloy 20.

Alloy 20 (UNS N08020) /Incoloy20/2.4660/nicr20cumo/Nicrofer3620NB exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments that contain sulphuric acid, chlorides, phosphoric acid and nitric acid. It is easy to fabricate this alloy to form mixing tanks, heat exchangers, pickling equipment etc. The standard forms in which this alloy is available are round, flats, pipe, tube, strip and wire.
