Monel K500 (UNS N05500), W.Nr. 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with the added advantages of greater strength and hardness. The increased properties are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base, and by heating under controlled conditions so that submicroscopic particles of Ni3 (Ti, Al) are precipitated throughout the matrix.
Typical applications for Monel K500 products are chains and cables, fasteners and springs for marine service; pump and valve components for chemical processing; doctor blades and scrapers for pulp processing in paper production; oil well drill collars and instruments, pump shafts and impellers, non-magnetic housings, safety lifts and valves for oil and gas production; and sensors and other electronic components.(For more materials technology and key points of process, please contact HY-Industry)

The alloy Inconel 718 is a nickel based high temperature alloy aging hardened by body centered cubic γ” phase and face centered cubic γ′phase, it has good comprehensive performance in the temperature range of -253~700℃, and its yield strength below 650℃ ranks first in all wrought high temperature alloys. It has good resistance against fatigue, radiation, oxidation and corrosion, as well as good processability, welding performance and long-term structure stability. And it is suitable for making various complex shaped parts, which are widely used in the fields of aerospace, nuclear power, oil-gas industries at above mentioned temperature range.
Another feature of this alloy is that its structure is particularly sensitive to thermal processing technology, by mastering the relationship between phase precipitation and dissolution in the alloy, as well as the structure, process and properties, reasonable and feasible process procedures can be formulated, so as to making various parts that can meet different strength levels and usage requirements.
The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding.
The ease and economy with which INCONEL alloy 718 can be fabricated, combined with good tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength, have resulted in its use in a wide range of applications. Examples of these are components for liquid fueled rockets, rings, casings and various formed sheet metal parts for aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines, and cryogenic tankage. It is also used for fasteners and instrumentation parts.
Its applications include various stationary and rotating parts in aerospace engines, such as disc, ring,cartridge receiver,axle,blade,fasteners,elastic elements, gas pipe,sealing elements and welded structural parts; steam turbine; liquid fuel rockets; various elastic components and grillage used in nuclear industry; parts used in petroleum & chemical industry etc.
