     Hastelloy X Physical properties:

    Density

    8.28 g/cm3

    Melting Point

    1295-1381℃

    HastelloyX performance advantages:

    •  It has excellent oxidation resistance up to 1200℃

    •  Good high temperature strength

    • Good formability and weldability

    • Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking

    HastelloyX Characteristic:

    • Good oxidation and corrosion resistance. Below 900 °C with middle elevated temperature stress rupture and creep rupture strength; good formability with cold working and hot working and excellent welding fabrication.

    HastelloyX welding process:

    • Hastelloy X can be welded by various welding processes, such as tungsten electrode inert gas arc welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas arc welding, and molten inert gas arc welding. Priority is given to pulse arc welding.

    • Before welding, the material needs to be solid solution treated to remove oxide scale, oil stains and various marking marks. The wide range of about 25mm on both sides of the weld needs to be polished to a bright metal surface.

    • Using low heat input, the temperature between layers does not exceed 100 ℃, without pre-welding and post-welding heat treatment.
