Inconel 686 is known as “the corrosion resistant alloy of the 21st century”, which is currently the most commercial corrosion resistant alloy with the highest alloying degree. The alloy can be produced in the form of plate, coil, strip, pipe, wire, bar, forging and welding material, etc., and relevant specifications are included in ASTM, ASME, VDT Ü V and NACE mr0175.
Inconel 686 is a low-carbon Ni Cr Mo W alloy. It has remarkable resistance to overall corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion. It has remarkable corrosion resistance to oxidation, reduction, mixed acid and various environments containing halides. It is also resistant to seawater and other marine environments. The prEN value of Inconel 686 is as high as 51.

Inconel 686 is solid solution strengthening and corrosion resistance nickel based alloy of NI-Cr-Mo, which has good corrosion resistance in severe corrosive environment.
