XM-19/S20910/Nirtonic 50 is the same material and belongs to nitrogen-reinforced austenitic stainless steel. Its corrosion resistance is better than 316, 616L, 317 and 317L, and the yield strength is almost twice that at room temperature. Good mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures, mainly using a large valve stem of various low temperature valves. The relevant standards are ASTM A182, A193/4, A276, A479 and the like. XM-19 (S20910) has very good mechanical properties at both high and zero temperatures. Very low magnetic permeability is maintained even after large cold deformation or at sub-zero temperatures, while having very good mechanical properties at temperatures of 1200 °F (649 °C). Although the magnetic permeability is kept very low in a low temperature environment, the Nitronic 33 and Nitronic 40 grades are not yet achieved. Superior corrosion resistance is demonstrated in many processes.

The steel grade has outstanding performance in resistance to sulfide stress corrosion cracking and intergranular corrosion resistance. The material can withstand long-term exposure to the atmospheric atmosphere at sea, and tests have shown that its corrosion resistance in static seawater is slightly better than that of Monel 400 (UNS N04400). The steel grade is subject to stress corrosion cracking in the nitride environment and is between 304 and 316 in terms of crack resistance. Because of its good mechanical properties, high temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance, it is currently a highly efficient alloy used in petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, nuclear fuel recycling, pulp and paper, textile, food processing and marine industries. Specific applications include pumps, valves and fittings, fasteners, cables, chains, screen and wire outerwear, marine hardware such as boats, pump shafts, heat exchangers, springs and photographic equipment.
