Hastelloy B-3 Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy (marketing department of Shanghai HY Industry Co., Ltd)
Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, with better thermal stability than B-2 alloy. In addition, this nickel-steel alloy is highly resistant to attack from the knife line and heat-affected zone. B-3 alloy can also withstand sulfuric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing media. In addition, this nickel alloy has excellent resistance to yanamic acid at various concentrations and temperatures. The distinguishing feature of Hastelloy B-3 is its ability to maintain excellent ductility during transient exposure to moderate temperatures. Such exposure is routinely experienced during thermal processing associated with manufacturing.
