ERNiCrMo-4/Hastelloy C-276 Nickel-based alloy welding wire description:
ERNiCrMo-4/Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-based alloy welding wire with chemical composition code NiCr15Mo15Fe6W4. It has excellent welding performance, beautiful weld seam formation, mechanical properties of deposited metal, and excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, and high temperature oxidation.
ERNiCrMo-4 Nickel-based alloy welding wire uses:
Mainly used for welding of HASTELLOY C-276 and other nickel-based alloys, and also for surfacing welding of carbon steel

ERNiCrMo-4 Precautions for nickel-based alloy welding wire welding:
-
Surface impurities such as oil, rust, and moisture must be thoroughly removed at the weld.
-
When welding, use small heat input, and it is recommended to use a lower interpass temperature.
-
The purity of the argon used should be above 99.99% and the gas flow control should be appropriate. Generally, when the welding current is 100-200A, the gas flow is about 10-15L/min.
-
Appropriate wind-proof facilities must be provided when welding, otherwise the shielding gas is easily affected by the wind and the gas protection is poor. Deteriorate the weld bead and generate porosity.
-
Properly select the nozzle and control the proper extension length of the tungsten electrode.
