HY Co31 Material grades and equivalents: Stellite 31/ UNS R30031
HY Co31(UNS R30031 / Stellite 31 ) is a cobalt base superalloy (CoCrNiW) with high wear and corrosion resistance, excellent stress-rupture properties, resistance to thermal and mechanical shock and corrosion resistance. It is commonly used in the hottest sections of industrial gas turbines.

HY Co31(UNS R30031/ Stellite 31) is a cobalt-base, high-temperature super alloy having high tensile and creep properties in pre-cision casting. It is superior in stress-rupture properties to most alloys commercially available, especially at 1700 and 1800°F.
Processing conditions and application:
HY Co31(UNS R30031/ Stellite 31) is mainly used in gas turbine engines in areas subject to hot gas erosion.
